Job Description
•           Manages the Inspection & Corrosion team; ensuring that deliverables within the team are met and that expectations and work plans are clear. Ensures that robust systems and processes are in place at the site to provide the highest standards of asset integrity.
•           Contribute to reviews and recommendations on new technologies and practices applicable to corrosion management
•           Analyze contracting strategies to ensure best practice inspection management
•           Oversee all aspects of the optimization of corrosion inhibition treatments across production infrastructure.
•           Capture lessons learned and ensure these are implemented across the Inspection & Corrosion team.
•           Disseminate best corrosion management practices across the site based team
•           Participate in planning and scheduling of corrosion management activities related to shutdowns.
•           Analyze and identify trends in corrosion data
•           Contribute to budgeting and cost analysis efforts for all site based activities linked to inspection and corrosion.
•           Manage service contractors and monitor their performance and compliance; with HSE especially, but all GB standards and practices
•           Provide advice as needed into chemical hazard exercises and analysis within GB.

Requirements (Education required, background, experience, skills)
•           Must hold a Bachelor’s degree – likely in Chemistry, Metallurgy, Chemical Engineering or Physics, but may be in Mechanical Engineering, Petroleum Engineering or similar.
•           Must have strong Project Management skills
•           Proficient with managing large volumes of data and producing succinct analysis and recommendations to management
•           Extensive experience of managing inspection and corrosion issues in an operating oil & gas facility
•           Experienced user of corrosion management software
•           Proven track record in the design, implementation, monitoring and optimization of large scale  chemical treatment and corrosion management programmes
•           Fluent English required – French and/or Arabic skills advantageous
