Job Description

Job Title: DFO Coordinator

Duties: This position will report directly to the project document control lead.

Creates and maintains a Document Distribution Matrix and Data Book Register to track, record progress and manage incoming/outgoing data books.

Provides scheduled reporting, analysis and data book progress to Document Control Lead and project management team.

Responsible for expediting receipt of data books.

As needed travel to contractor sites to perform vendor data book audits.

Assists with project document control tasks and project management documentation requests.

Ensuring the Asset file is being constructed.

Interfacing with PDC Team, Discipline Leads, Package Leads and Contractors regarding job book approvals.

Interfacing with project services group to ensure Contractors have complied with all requirements within their agreements and obtain sign-off on final release form prior to payment of final invoices.

Auditing internal and external document repositories for compliance on final documentation procedures and processes as required.

Monitoring compliance on the turnover and document control processes by all contractors and company concerning Final Deliverables.

Responsible for quality control of electronic and hard copy job books including ensuring all issued Final Deliverables are compliant with Project and Company standards and contain all required documentation.

Proficiency with various computer applications including Microsoft Office, McLaren Work Manager, PDF Writers.

Proven knowledge of document control job functions, project closeout, and handover processes.

Documentation import/export experience.

7-10 years Prior Document Control Experience.
