Discipline Lead - Surface / PFP Treatment

Aker Solutions’ New Build segment delivers oil & gas and renewables offshore developments and fabrication products, mainly focused on the Norwegian Continental Shelf and selective international markets. The segment is responsible for large EPCI projects, both within oil and gas and renewables, including business development and project execution, typically large topsides including fixed or floating substructures, onshore facilities, FPSOs offshore wind HVDC topside and jackets, offshore aquaculture floaters and decommissioning and recycling.
 
Aker Solutions is now looking for a Discipline Lead / PFP Treatment with experience from onshore or offshore projects. The project is lead from Stord.
 
 
Position Responsibilities:

• Lead and be responsible for Construction installation within your discipline.
• Prioritize and lead own resources based on Aker Solutions and the project strategies and goals.
• Be a driving force in HSSE, quality and productivity work.
• Make decisions based on multi-discipline thinking in accordance with Aker Solutions' project Execution model – PEM.
• Follow up of Fabrication – and Installation Manager (FIL) and Work Organizer.
• Plan for FIL on weekly basis together with work organizer.
• Manage weekly discipline meetings with FIL.
• Participate actively in multi discipline coordinating meetings with Construction Manager / Line Manager.
• Support FIL through the working shift and rotation.
• Responsible for handling changes in schedule for the discipline.
• Responsible for the planning of the discipline.
• Responsibility for good handover between shifts and rotations.
• Maintain and develop own competence.
• Be a driving force for continuous improvement in the discipline.
• Interface and coordination.

Skills and Levels Description:

• Minimum 5 years’ experience from related industry.
• Must have professional expertise in Surface and PFP Treatment.
• Vocational education with trade certificate.
• Frosio certificate is required.
• Good leadership skills and ability to create good teams.
• Outgoing and good communication, motivation and cooperation skills.
• Good knowledge of MIPS.
• Skilled in Microsoft Office.
• Good communication skills in Norwegian and English, both verbally and written language.
