Our client, a Global Oil & Gas EPCI is currently seeking an experienced Environmental Advisor for a 12-month contract with potential to extend. This will be for the Scarborough Project.

Duties & Responsibilities:
  • Reporting to the QHSE Manager, you will provide necessary support to ensure that the project environmental plans and procedures are properly implemented on site during operations.
  • The position will initially be a 12-month contract with options to extend. The role will be based at the client’s head office in West Perth with easy access to public transport.
  • Provide guidelines for the management of the environmental aspects;
  • Analyze the activities environmental impact, both for project and execution phase;
  • Identify and develop proper mitigation measures and methods to be implemented for reduction of the environmental impact;
  • Provide support for the development and improvement of the environmental management system and performances of the project;
  • Update and spread the laws knowledge and the authorizing processes related to the environment;
  • Environmental compliance and record checks, and associated reporting
  • Environmental Audits and Inspections.
Qualifications:
  • Degree in Environmental Science / Management or related discipline;
  • Experience in dealing with relevant regulators (NOPSEMA/DMIRS);
  • Performing Environmental assessments;
  • Strong attention to detail;
  • Environment Oil and Gas Industry standards / expectations.
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
  • Excellent verbal and written communications (in English), with very strong attention to
  • detail and the ability to structure thoughts deliberately, logically, and directly;
  • High level of initiative, self-drive and enthusiasm to succeed and progress;
  • Very good organizational skills, with the ability to meet deadlines, manage.
