Job Description

Our client requires an experienced HR Advisor to assist with a major offshore hook up project. We need a talented & experienced individual who can strengthen our team.

Main responsibilities and tasks:

  • Proactively provide guidance and advice to managers and supervisors on all people related issues and employment law matters
  • Be commercially aware of the Company and Project status, priorities and needs and provide HR business partnering to achieve best practice and delivery within area of responsibility
  • Focal point for all HR operational matters within area of responsibility, ensuring active involvement in all people management activities, covering Attract, Select, Develop, Perform, Reward and Re-assign, managing the employee life cycle
  • Full working knowledge of the OCA agreement, ensuring compliance with the agreement within area of responsibility
  • Support managers in the recruitment process, assisting in decision-making and aligning the process to the Global Recruitment Guide
  • Provide advice and guidance to managers who are leading resolution of employee relations issues and openly obtain assistance as and when required, ensuring internal policies and legislative requirements are followed
  • Ensure compliance with company policies and processes including changes to terms and conditions ensuring appropriate approvals are sought, ensuring thorough auditable trails are maintained and linkage to wider HR team where appropriate
  • Build and maintain a close relationship with client groups to ensure that managers follow process regarding performance management-This includes annual schedules, as well as ongoing performance management
  • Be willing and able to travel offshore and to sites as required
  • Undertake a role within the Emergency Response Team and take part in the HR on-call rota should it be required

Qualifications

  • Degree Qualified
  • Membership of CIPD
  • Full working knowledge of the OCA agreement
