Industrial Porter/Maintenance Helper

Summary:

• Responsible for maintaining the cleanliness of buildings and assist with machine maintenance repairs as needed.

Responsibilities:

• Perform heavy cleaning duties such as cleaning shop floors, shampooing rugs, etc.
• Gather and empty trash.
• Service and clean restrooms.
• Dust furniture, machines, and other equipment.
• Maintain and stock inventory in the maintenance department.
• Assist mechanics with maintenance repairs on machines as needed.
• Any other duties as required.

Education:

• 1-2 years of experience with industrial facility maintenance.

Skills:

• Organizational skills
• Effective communication skills (verbal and written)
• Must be able to follow instructions (verbal and written)
