Job Description

This is a key position responsible for a range of activities to ensure prioritisation, development, testing and implementation of modifications to the integrated Management system for Project Controls and Engineering.
The role requires the following:


  • Liaison between Functions and akimsTM Support and Development teams
  • Ensuring that a version control is implemented for all software updates
  • Ensuring that all faults are dealt with in a timely manner
  • Working with Project Controls / Engineering Discipline leads to accept, define and prioritise any Change Requests
  • Ensuring that all changes to akimsTM are documented
  • Work with discipline leads to update all work instructions with regard to the akimsTM system
  • Ensuring that all change is delivered , tested prior to acceptance testing with the Functions
  • Ensure Functional Testing prior to inclusion into a new release
  • Ensure Release Notes are issued detailed what has changed in release
  • Include all updates into Work Instructions on issue of New Release
  • Create and maintain implementation plan of all agreed changes

    Main Responsibilities
  • Ensure that all Quality Management Systems are implemented for akimsTM
  • Implementation and correct use of all company processes and procedures
  • Adherence to control systems to ensure adherence to schedule, budget and quality requirements
  • Ensure the akimsTM development and support teams are correctly structured and populated in order to satisfy the on-going region deliverables
  • Support the Training and Competency Management delivery of assigned personnel
  • Implementation of an engaged Communication strategy for akimsTM in line with regional and global requirements
  • Clear, energised and engaged communication at all levels within and across Akims Team ,Project Controls and Engineering
  • Responsible for the management of reporting as required
  • Strategic Business Development in line with regional global strategy documents including front facing client role
  • Ensure up to date, rationalised akimsTM Strategy in place that is action orientated
  • Support for Customer Management function including tendering activities
  • Direct support for International Business Development Opportunities
  • Ownership of akimsTM development and road-map according to strategic ambitions

      COMPETENCE REQUIREMENTS


  • Degree preferred, minimum HND
  • Conversant with appropriate technical software
  • Aware of latest technical developments in data management and control
  • Good analytical skills
  • Good oral and written communication
  • Good presentation skills
  • Leading and Facilitating workshops and meetings
