RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Preparing engineering specifications and calculations and other documents as required.
 Design input to the 3D model.
 Preparing Technical analysis of proposals provided by equipment manufacturers' and contractors.
 Checking and approving calculations, specifications and drawings prepared by other design staff.
 Reviewing & commenting on Vendor supplied documentation.
 Attend & participate in project risk reviews.
 Attend & participate in planning reviews.
 Attend & participate in 30%, 60% & 90% model reviews.
 Attend & participate in design stage 1, 2 & 3 risk reviews.
 Identifying scope changes to base estimate when necessary and raising the applicable documentation and manhours estimates.
 Working to the project programme, quality plan & IMS procedures.
 Weekly updating of KHI engineering progress data.
 Attendance to site and vendor meetings/inspections as applicable to work scopes.
 Advising and guiding Engineers, Designers, and Draughtspersons, including apprentices and graduates.
 Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations.
 Allocation of man hour budget for work scopes.

QUALIFICATIONS AND EXPERIENCE:
 Incorporated Engineer/BEng or equivalent in the appropriate engineering subject.
 Appropriate engineering experience (minimum 10 years) in the particular discipline.
 Knowledge of engineering Practices and Standards, Codes and Regulations and current HSE Legislation and Regulations related to the particular discipline.
 Experience of team management.

ADDITIONAL RESPONSIBILITIES:
 Discipline responsibility to deliver the engineering scope of work to the agreed project programme and within budgeted man hours.
 Supervising and allocating work to engineers and designers and ensuring compliance to IMS procedures within the discipline team.
 Allocation of man hour budget for work scopes.
 Weekly updating of the KHI engineering progress sheets.
 Identification of and preparation of estimates to scope changes in timely manner.
 Inter-discipline liaison linked to project scope of works.
