Our client a Global Oil and Gas organization in Perth CBD are currently seeking a Project Administrator –Subsea Projects to join them for a 12-month contract.
To provide efficient administrative support to Project Managers and Project teams in regard to data collection, processing and reporting.
To provide administrative support to other departmental administrators and their Project Managers / Managers, as required.
Duties and Responsibilities include, but are not limited to:
  • Provide timely administration support to Project Managers and teams, as required
  • Provide a primary point of reference for Project administration information
  • Assist in preparation and distribution of departmental and project minutes, as required
  • Create Purchase Requisitions in GEOS, assisting Service Coordinators with purchasing requirements
  • Assist in preparation of monthly reporting
  • Maintain up to date registers within project folders, as required
  • Process travel bookings for staff, as per agreed travel procedures
  • Request Database notifications (New Starter, Desk Moves, Deletions, Transfers) to be actioned in a timely manner.
  • Provide support to the Corporate Lead Administrator, ensuring timely follow-up of BU and departmental procedures, as required
  • Maintain awareness of, and compliance with, the Quality Management System procedures which directly affect work undertaken
Key Skills and Experience Required:
  • Demonstrated knowledge of project management systems
  • Intermediate MS Office Suite (Excel / Word / PowerPoint / Outlook)
  • Exposure to GEOS is desirable
  • Knowledge of website authorizing systems
  • Minimum of three years administration experience in a fast-paced environment
  • Exposure to a medium to large and/or global organization
  • Ability to function in a collaborative and collegial environment
  • Demonstrated strong initiative, proactive and persuasive approach with
the ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment
  • Strong communication skills (telephone, written and verbal) and sound
interpersonal skills
  • Excellent organisational skills, coupled with high attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently, with minimal supervision
  • Strong planning, time management and communication skills
