NES Global Talent is seeking talented Project Engineers with experience in leading middle and large scale projects (TIC of EUR 30m to 300m) in the downstream refinery and chemical / petrochemical markets. Candidates who show superior leadership skills in a complex multi-office environment with an ability to provide innovative solutions to clients is our objective. FEED and EPC & EPCm experience are both desirable. Our client’s The Hague Office specific market focus is: Engineering, Procurement, Construction management and Consultancy. They provide EPC & EPCm solutions to the Petrochemical, Chemical, Oil and Gas and Refining markets. They currently have a staff strength of +1000 employees and plan to grow at a quicker rate by end of 2018.

Position Summary
  • Graduate engineers with at least 5 years of experience in project engineering activities under the supervision of Project Manager;
  • Demonstrate full commitment to Safety and Quality;
  • Understand the various activities that are performed in a project execution cycle and ensure milestones are being met and deliverables are issued in a timely manner and as per schedule;
  • Understand Project Procedure, Execution Plans, Quality Plans and assist Project Manager in the proper execution of the project activities;
  • Assist PM in organizing weekly meetings, compiling meeting notes, weekly project reports and such other project documentation;
  • Assist in proposal coordination/compilation efforts;
  • Communicate/coordinate within and outside the project task force to ensure project needs are being addressed in a timely manner;
  • Capable of handling small units/areas within a large project independently under the guidance of   Project Manager;
  • Capable of handling projects of up to 20000 hours independently or with minimal guidance from Project Manager;
  • Capable of interacting with all stakeholders including client and vendors;
  • Coordinate with Project Controls and help PM plan and control the project as per the requirements of the schedule and also help compile and issue progress and productivity reports.
  • A degree in engineering in any discipline
  • Total 8 to 10 years of experience in Engineering and Design, preferably with engineering consultants/contractors or from client's side.
  • At least 5 years of experience in project engineering activities
  • Knowledge of Primavera/MS Project would be an advantage
  • Good spoken and written English language skills, communication skills and interpersonal skills
  • Previous experience of independently handling small projects of up to 20000 hours would be an advantage
  • Mention any professional affiliations/certifications
  • Should be open for short travel and deputation to sites where required
  • Mention location preference and near term mobility readiness.
