Job Description

The mission You will join an international team of thirty employees, you will be assigned to a project working group. Your missions will cover several phases: response to invitations to tender, detailed studies, implementation of projects.

You report to the submarine conduit engineering manager and, at the operational level, to the engineer responsible for these project activities. You will be involved or lead: • Review of the documents and technical specifications of our customers, the description of the infrastructure proposed in the bidding phase. • Active participation in technical journals and human, environmental and economic risks. • The resolution of interfaces with other infrastructures or other disciplines. • The architecture of the field, the definition of the roads in the soil functions, the bathymetry, the obstacles, the approaches, the methods of installation, the stability of the curves. • Quantities of materials and equipment needed such as tubes, elbows, forgings. • Technical negotiation and support for the purchase of our suppliers worldwide. • The study and the detailed design of the pipes (ex dimensioning, materials, coatings), of certain particular components, the conditions of laying, the vertical stability related to the imperfections of the soil in the different phases of use, filling and landfill. • Detailed design of crossing structures, span supports, protection of pipes against the falling of objects (anchors, drill pipes, containers, etc.), isometric final pieces intended to accommodate expansions at the end of the line ("coils & jumpers"). • Fatigue resistance analyzes (marine currents, start and restart of production, history of constraints induced in the line during installation, pre-start or production phases). • Calculation of thermal expansion, anchor length and estimation of compressive stresses induced by soil resistance and buckling analysis of pipes under pressure and temperature constraints. • all the structures for controlling the phenomena of buckling and instability linked to several "pipeline run" cycles. • Feedback from projects, consolidation and maintenance of technical tools and technology watch on the evolution of the activity.

Profile and skills • You are an engineer (general mechanics, material resistance, hydrodynamics, geotechnics, civil engineering, mechanical engineering, structure and / or naval and maritime architecture). For experienced positions, you have a successful experience in a trade in the oil services industry. • You have the passion of our industry, the motivation to join us, and you want to learn the specificities of the job.
