Job Description

Leading manufacturer of Subsea Control equipment for Subsea Production Systems are looking for an experienced senior production planner who can strengthen the team and support the planning of current and future projects.

Responsibilities and Tasks:    

  • Plan overall portfolio of products for the manufacturing site
  • Enter and maintain all material demands (in-house build components) in project builder for work package in agreement with the project planner
  • Update and review the schedule and workload, analyse deviations to plan, propose recovery plans, preventive / mitigating actions, “what-if” scenarios for slot plan optimization
  • Plan overall workload and capacity; Maintain and monitor capacity on plant and workshop level
  • Forecast workload and capacity at the manufacturing site (master plan)
  • Monitor the delivery performance / KPIs, workload & capacity, backlog & prospects; Provide input to monthly reports and project meetings
  • Prepare manufacturing schedules and workload & capacity charts for tendering
  • Establish capacity requirements plan for new projects not yet in system based on probability. Align with build plan and ongoing projects

 
Qualifications / Personal Attributes:    

  • BSc/MSc in Engineering or Business (although candidates with an appropriate level of work experience will also be considered)
  • Advanced experience and knowledge of Productions Systems (SAP Production Planning and Primavera)
  • Production planning experience gained in a Manufacturing environment 
  • Deep understanding of manufacturing process and technology as well as the related complexity and challenges
  • Experienced with production shop floor constraints and QHSE requirements
  • Experienced with scenario planning (“Predictive Analytics” with “Risk Management” and “Productivity forecasts”) related to manufacturing
  • Structured with strong analytical skills
  • Good communication skills and able to build strong relations
