Our client specialized in Engergy sector is looking for a Strategic Finance & Ventures Manager.
Location: Monaco
Duration: 1 year renewable

MAIN TASKS:

The Strategic Finance Manager will have a direct reporting line to the Head of Strategic Finance.

Business Opportunities enabler
Engage with Clients to develop new commercial models for existing and future products.
Review projects contracts Terms and Conditions and contribute to commercial and legal negotiations in collaboration Sales and Marketing to secure project long-term value creation.
Integrate Group Finance to guide & support Sales & Marketing during business development and business acquisition.
Provide financial intelligence related to clients, competitors, partners.

Financing Solutions provider
Frame suitable financing solutions for Clients for existing and future products and ensure certainty of financing capacity in close collaboration with Corporate Finance / Treasury.
Explore new source of funds / unchartered investors by leveraging on equity partners / clients, shipyards, suppliers.
Support Strategic Partnership initiatives.
Review Financing and Partnership documentation and drive commercial and legal negotiations in collaboration with Corporate Finance, JV management and Sales and Marketing
Head M&A and Divesture processes for FOW project development, lead transaction end-to-end and provide advisory to Business and Legal.

Finance Modelling
Coordinate financial models development for existing products’ Partnership and Financings.
Lead complex and innovative financial models development for future products.

REQUIREMENTS:
  • A relevant university degree (e.g. Finance or Economics)
  • At least 10 years of professional work experience in Senior Corporate Finance or Treasury roles
  • Audit experience from big 4 accounting firm is a plus
  • Proven track record in all aspect of project finance, trade finance and corporate finance
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills with ability to interact with internal and external stakeholders
  • Highly numerate, with the ability to understand and interpret financial accounts
  • Experience of dealing with legal agreements and liaising with external legal advisors
  • Experience in contract drafting
  • Experience of managing projects or transactions from initial discussions through to closing
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
  • Strong computer skills (Excel, Power Point,…) required
  • Affinity with EPC projects and preferably the Oil & Gas industry
  • Fluency in English and French is required, third language is a plus (Spanish, Portuguese, Mandarin).
