Technical Specialist – 12 Months Contract – London EC3A

Technical Specialists to have extensive Knowledge of SharePoint Online & associated technologies: Web Parts, Master Pages, Managed Metadata, & SharePoint Designer, incl. topology & architecture. Exp. of SharePoint development technologies & methodologies. Exp. of creating, configuration & customizing of SharePoint sites. Experience with developing workflows using O365 Flow, Power Apps, Visual Studio & SharePoint Designer. Exp. creating & managing an enterprise data taxonomy, Information Architecture. Search configuration & governance. Demonstrate understanding of the state-of-the-art trends in the enterprise content management technology domain. Exp. in developing InfoPath forms, workflows & enhancing SharePoint out-of-box web parts to design solutions.  Understanding of Web technologies (JQuery, CSS & HTML) & PowerShell scripting, InfoPath forms & BI capabilities. Experience in working with customers to gather & document both functional & technical requirements. Ability to leverage & promote the capabilities of SharePoint as a platform for business use & productivity. Ability to write clear & concise technical documentation

Technical Specialist Responsibilities: 

Technical Specialist to management of my client’s Office 365, Azure & Active Directory estate incl. management of accounts, sites, teams & groups. Be the lead O365 technical specialist within the department, providing advice & assistance to all areas of the business & acting as the service champion. Provide full support, development & administration of the Office 365 system. Convert functional/business requirements into technical Office 365 solutions. Configuration & maintenance of the relevant security policies for sites across the platform, including permissions. Analysing & reporting upon SharePoint usage, activity & tuning. Regular auditing, review, clean-up, management & configuration of Office 365 accounts & sites including the creation, deletion, moving & copying of sites across the platform. Including site collection & site templates. Creation & management of list/document libraries & content types. Monitoring usage analysis, data storage, quotas, & tuning including determining indexing schedules. Monitoring & updating allowable/ prohibited file type storage. Administering search engine configuration & optimisation, system backups & routine releases & upgrades to the application.  Providing other application development & maintenance duties as required.
