Territory Sales Manager 

£35,000 - £37,000 – Company Vehicle – Bonus – Healthcare – Pension

Do you want to work for a well-established global organisation and join a thriving sales and commercial team? Are you a tenacious sales person who can appreciate the responsibilities of running a patch in a demanding and high volume industry?

As a Territory Sales Manager, you will manage sales volume and price within your given area through effective market opportunity and customer management. You will be working with building merchants, large construction and infrastructure companies managing a mixture of new and existing business.

Key responsibilities will be as follows:
  • Identifying and capturing new business opportunities within existing key accounts
  • Harvesting business intelligence and sharing amongst the team to in the sales organisation and feeder material for marketing
  • Working alongside 3 manufacturing plants to create orders and organise logistics for client orders
  • Manage reporting of activities and pipeline/key account sales revenue forecasts with appropriate risk analysis to mitigate potential pipeline
  • Preparation of professional sales quotations/proposals with customer engagement to deliver winning outcomes
Managing key accounts you will be expected to engage and invest in your own business development portfolio from identifying new opportunities leading to own future key accounts. Expect this to be 50-60% of your working week.

Required Experience / Skillset
  • Prior experience of account management and business development skills
  • Commercially aware of the Building Materials products
  • Ability to extract information through structured questions and offer data driven opportunity recommendations
  • Excellent organisational, time management and work scheduling / prioritisation skills
  • Effective communicator with proven ability to engage customers and internal stakeholders at all organisational levels
