Women in Energy Global Study

Connecting

Our industry is focusing hard on improving diversity and affecting real change, and as staffing leaders NES Global Talent and Energy Job Line are working together to drive this forward.

This year we surveyed the market to find out how women actually feel in 2018, and were delighted that over 1000 women contributed their views.

The global focus on attracting more women into the Energy industry is not just about creating a more diverse workforce, it is of vital importance if we are to continue to serve the world’s growing energy needs. With demand for engineering expertise far outstripping supply and half the experienced engineering workforce set to retire in the next decade, the sector is facing a crippling skills shortage. In order to power future energy projects, the industry must act now to fully tap into this enormous potential talent pool.

NES Global Talent is committed to sourcing and placing the female talent our clients so desperately need. We conducted this survey to find out more about women working in the Energy industry, their career path and the challenges and opportunities of working in the sector, in a bid to help highlight what the industry could be doing to attract and retain female employees.
